Bongi started playing netball in her teens and is now South Africa’s most capped netball player. The SPAR Protea’s captain has shown up for South Africa 158 times. Bongi is dedicated to raising the profile of netball and inspiring young women to take part in the sport. She was voted Telkom Woman of the Year 2022
